Every August fifteen of a chinese calendar is moon festival. The moon is cycle in this day. However, The chinese word "cycle" mean like a reunion, so every family would be reunion on this day.
In history, there were many traditions about moon festival. The most popular story was about a king and his wife. As the story goes, there were ten suns on the sky, so people feel very hot, the king use bow and arrow to shoot nine suns, so when this day we always grill meat. Finally, the king want immortal, so he search for immortal medicine, but his wife was not him immortal, so she ate his immortal medicine, and then she flew to the moon. In my country, we say there is a beautiful girl living on the moon.
In this day, we also have popular cake and friut that are moon cake and pomelo. this cake look like moon, and this fruit also produce on this season.
